Donald Trump Waffles From Antiwar LARP to PNAC Agenda with Iran

Donald Trump has a war problem. On one hand, he longs for the votes of perhaps millions of antiwar ‘progressives’ like the Glenn Greenwald crowd. On the other hand, he wants war with Iran badly and he loves the Project for a New American Century (PNAC). PNAC is the Republican master plan for huge wars of hegemony, sometimes called the “Bush agenda.” In 2000, the group PNAC wrote up its strategy document “Rebuilding America’s Defenses” that ordered war against many Middle East nations including Iran, ordered an independent Space Force, and of course, ordered expansion (aka “rebuilding“) of the war machine.

Question: If Donald Trump is so antiwar, if he opposed the Iraq war so strongly, why doesn’t he expose PNAC itself? Answer: Because he is PNAC.

Donald Trump has signed onto all these things despite how much the Trumps and Bushs “hate” each other and despite how much familiar neocon propaganda people like Tucker Carlson now claim to be antiwar Trump supporters.

But Donald Trump’s mouth goes in a different direction. He claims to want peace. The cover story goes something like this: Donald Trump is an outsider overturning the establishment and stopping war. Never mind that the same old tired Establishment Republicans had a chance to remove him upon impeachment, but refused to do so — almost to a person. Never mind that Donald Trump ended the Iran peace deal that Democrats worked so hard to win. Never mind that Donald Trump is buddies with Saudi Arabia and Israel both of whom itch for war against Iran all day long and into the night.

Last January, Donald Trump bombed top Iranian official Qasem Soleimani while he was in Iraq. This kind of thing — bombing top officials of nations — just happens to be an act of war. But then The Donald apparently remembered that there are millions of people who might vote for him on the antiwar agenda, so things cooled down. War against Iran would have to wait until after the antiwar fools have exhausted their usefulness — after the 2020 election.

However, Donald Trump is already back to threatening Iran on Twitter before the election:

According to press reports, Iran may be planning an assassination, or other attack, against the United States in retaliation for the killing of terrorist leader Soleimani, which was carried out for his planning a future attack, murdering U.S. Troops, and the death & suffering…

What happened to the Fake News media and the Deep State? Trump believes “press reports” now? The topic is Iran so don’t worry about that. He continues:

…caused over so many years. Any attack by Iran, in any form, against the United States will be met with an attack on Iran that will be 1,000 times greater in magnitude!

Don’t be surprised if Donald Trump starts war against Iran after the election regardless of whether he loses or cheats his way back in.

Donald Trump is just like his Republican idol Richard Nixon, only more transparent. Whereas Richard Nixon claimed to be antiwar before the 1968 election then widened the Vietnam War after the election, Donald Trump gives lip service to antiwar before the 2020 election, but at times essentially tells the people it’s all a big LARP like in these Tweets. We know he wants Iran war after the election. Also, whereas Richard Nixon sabotaged a peace deal with Vietnam behind the scenes, Donald Trump just tore up the Iran deal right in the face of the public.

Any ‘progressive’ defending or supporting Donald Trump on the antiwar LARP or against MSM better wake up and smell reality and fast. Credibility is on the line.
